RugBird.com enables oriental rug sellers to build advanced order handling and shipment schedules.
1. Select order handling & shipment fees function from business section of the Main Menu.
2. The list of all countries you selected to sell oriental rugs and carpets online will be listed.
3. Click on the Edit button to set up an order handling and shipment fee schedule for a country.
4. Enter order handling and shipment fees for the specific country and click on Update button.
RugBird.com uses only US$ values. Decimal numbers (up to 5 decimal digits) can be entered.
Definition of Order Handling and Shipment Fee Fields
Order Handling US$: This fee is charged per order. It is a fixed cost charged for order handling per sales order.
Per Unit: This fee is charged per unit in sales order. If an order has 10 items then 10 x Per Unit fee will be charged as shipping fee. If you have flat shipping rates per product for a country then this field can be used.
Per Kg.: This fee is calculated based on approximate weight field in product information provided for each product. Per Kg. fee will be multiplied with weight of each product and added to shipping fees.
Per Sq. Meter: This fee is calculated based on width and length fields in product information provided for each product. Per Sq. Meter fee will be multiplied by width and length of each product and added to shipping fees.
Mark Up%: This is a percentage value. This percentage will be multiplied with sales price of each product and will be added to shipping fees. Flat sales tax rates or other taxes can be entered here to be applied to each order item.
You can use any or all of the fees above. Shipment and Order Handling fees will be the sum of all fees.
Activation: If you want to stop selling to a country you can disable activation switch.
* If you choose Other in the country list then disabling activation switch for a country will be resulted in application of shipping and order handling fees for Other countries. But you will still be selling to the country you deactivated.
