To publish rugs online with RugBird.com you must be a registered RugBird.com member. If you are a registered member please log in before publishing your oriental rugs.
1. Select publish new rug function from business section of the Main Menu or Publish Rug from Tea Ball menu.
or 
2. Fill new product form and click on add rug button.
Product Description Fields
Product ID: The system gives a unique number for each oriental rug
Product Name: Product name should be a descriptive name for your oriental rug. Product name is used as one of the keywords for your product when registering to search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. We recommend selecting a descriptive product name.
Category: We have established a categorization based on common categories used by different resources. If you think that your product does not belong to any of the categories exist in RugBird.com then select the closest category from the list and click on "Category I need is not listed and should be added" link to send us a request. We will evaluate your request and will notify you as we add the category you requested. Once your category is added to the system you should update product information by changing its category.
Origin: There are over 100 origins in RugBird.com's origin list. If the origin you require is not listed please select the closest origin and send us an inquiry to add the origin you need by clicking on "Origin I need is not listed and should be added." link. We will evaluate your request and will notify you as we add the origin you requested. Once your origin is added to the system you should update product information by changing its origin.
Knots/cm²: Number of knots per square cm. Please use our knots/sq.inch to knots/sq.cm calculator if you need conversion to metric system. Metric system is used for data entry. However, RugBird.com displays both metric units and American units automatically.
Width: Width of the oriental rug. Width may be used in shipment fee calculations based on your set up.
Length: Length of the oriental rug. Length may be used in shipment fee calculations based on your set up.
Approximate Weight: Approximate weight of the oriental rug. Weight may be used in shipment fee calculations based on your set up.
Special Price: RugBird.com has 2-tier pricing (*SmartChann offers 4-tier pricing) Special price can be seen only by Enhanced, Professional and Premium Web Services members. End users and Basic members can see only End User Price.
End User Price: This is the retail price of your oriental rug.
Quantity in Stock: Quantity in stock is updated as you receive online orders and ship the orders. Products that are not in the stock can be added to shopping cart but can not be ordered.
Active Product: This switch is used to activate your product. If not checked then product can not be viewed or ordered on your and RugBird.com's web sites.
Add to My Special Gallery: RugBird.com members can have their own Special Galleries. Special gallery is a collection of special rugs that you want to emphasis on your marketing efforts such as your best products, discount products, or old products that you want to clear off your inventory, etc.
Notes: Notes field is for a short description of your oriental rug. Mention the most important attributes of your rug in this part. This short note is displayed in search results.
About the Product: This part is for detailed information about your rug. You can enter information about origin, colors, quality, etc. of your rugs. You also can enter hyperlinks to additional images of your rug. HTML tags can be used in this area for enriched description of your rugs.
4. When your rug is added to RugBird.com database you'll be notified with the following message.
Click on the link to upload preview and main images of your product.
5. The first image you will upload is main image for your product. Following form will be displayed.
6. Click on browse to select the main image from files in your computer.
After selecting image click on Upload File button. You must wait until file transfer completes. You'll be notified after the image upload is completed.
7. Complete the same procedure for the preview image.
